Welcome to the homepage of Sewing & Vacuum Warehouse Fabrics, the largest quilt fabric shop in the Houston and Conroe area! Providing top quality machines has always been our goal and when it comes to fabric there’s no exception. We have a variety of over 5,000 different fabrics featuring brands and collections from Moda, RJR, Alexander Henry, Riley Blake, Bernatex, Kanvas, and so many more of your favorite brands! We receive new shipments frequently, as a result our selection is every growing and changing! We are conveniently located next door to our Houston store and would love to be your one stop shop with our latest addition!

Fabric & Batting

Our walls are filled with treasures from all over the world, beginning with over 800 varieties of exquisite Batiks from the island of Bali. With such a wide variety of colors and patterns to choose from, you’ll easily find your perfect coordinating fabrics to those hard to match fabrics. Our handcrafted batiks are of the highest qualities you can find around and for the best price in town. Don’t believe us, stop on by and find out for yourself! We have a large selection of 108″ wide backings including Batiks! Saluting our troops with the red, white, and blue! Looking for a little Fourth of July inspiration? Browse our large Americana section to fill all of our your patriotic needs! Perfect for your Quilts of Valor projects! Over 200 bolts of juvenile fabric, including many little boy themes! We also carry a large variety of Hobbs batting by the roll and bags. All batting is at competitive prices just like our fabrics!

Long Arm Rentals

We are proud to now be offering long arm rentals on our Handi Quilter machines at both of our locations! Wanting to try your hand at free-motion quilting on a long arm? Take a run on our Handi Quilter Simply 16 or Handi Quilter Amara. Interested in trying computerized quilted designs – our Handi Quilter Infinity is the perfect match for you!

Rental rate is $25 per hour and starts as soon we start measuring to load and ends when quilt is off the machine. All backing fabric, batting, and thread must be purchased from us. If supplies were purchased elsewhere, the rental rate increases to $35 per hour. Backing fabric must exceed the size of the quilt by at least 6″ on all four sides for loading purposes. Quilts that do not meet this guideline will not be accepted. Please note these are “hands-on” projects that you will work on from start to finish.
